Illustrator Christopher Rusin has been designing his own worlds and characters since he was a child. His traditional and digital illustration training together with his study of realism as well as stylization form his distinct approach to the creation of his artwork.
In 2019, Christopher achieved a degree in Illustration from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. During his first year attending the university, one of his pieces was shown in the annual Spring Show. It was there that the art publication Creative Quarterly discovered his work and featured it in their 45-46 double issue. After which, he was named one Creative Quarterly’s top 100 illustrators of 2017. Christopher lives near the mountains of Pacific Northwest, in the hills of the expanding city of Eugene, Oregon. He lives with his partner of nine years, who is one of his largest sources of encouragement and inspiration. Currently, he does commission work ranging from portraiture to photo restoration for private clients.
